How to Set Up & Use
- Connect your pocket camera, USB webcam, or UVC source device to the designated Type-C Host port.
- For local monitoring, connect an external display via HDMI; for live streaming or remote transmission, connect to Wi-Fi, a cellular dongle, or a wired Ethernet network.
- Select Convert, Stream, or Transmit on the touchscreen, then configure resolution, frame rate, bitrate, audio source, and protocol settings.
- To initiate remote WAN transmission, create a channel; receiving devices can join and view via another Pocket Air, mobile app, mini-program, or web browser.
Important Purchasing Notes
Please verify that your video source supports native UVC output; HDMI video sources must be converted to UVC using an external HDMI capture card prior to input. The RJ45-to-USB Ethernet adapter is sold separately. WAN remote video transmission utilizes cloud servers and incurs subscription/service fees billed per viewer count upon channel creation; only one remote viewer can engage in voice intercom at a time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Pocket Air connect directly to an HDMI camera?
No. Pocket Air receives UVC video signals. HDMI cameras require an HDMI capture card to convert the HDMI signal to UVC before connecting.
Can I live stream directly without a computer?
Yes. Pocket Air can push RTMP streams directly to custom RTMP endpoints or Douyin/TikTok, and can also host a LAN RTSP stream independently.
What devices can be used to view remote WAN transmissions?
Remote feeds can be viewed on another Pocket Air, a smartphone app, a mini-program, or standard web browsers. For large-screen HDMI output on the receiving side, connect a secondary Pocket Air unit to an external monitor.
